Not sure why you are penciling in Anisimov. You're trading him to Edmonton.

Homer would have tried the same thing in prior years, but that post still made me smile.

Short answer no they can't. If they lose him they lose their only 30 goal guy and one of the only 3 guys on the team with over 20 goals. Without Johansson, the Jackets highest point producer is a Dman with 51 points. You got Scott Hartnell now but just look at his numbers and how inconsistent they are. He had 20 goals last season which is the least amount of goals in a season as a Flyer, without Giroux those numbers will drop, without Johansson those numbers will be abysmal. To me the trade is a wash. If RJ can come in a score 18 goals again on the 3rd line that will be a great in my book. Either Schenn or Simmonds will replace Hartnell.

Wennberg will lead the way ....and then RJ will come crawling back if the cbj can win a few games at the beginning of the season.

That being said I would really like something like this:

Calvert-Dubinsky-Atkinson (why destroy a line that did so much during the playoffs)
Hartnell-Anisimov-Horton
Foligno-Jenner-Letestu
Boll-Dano-Gibbons (love him hate him he attracts penalties)

If you are stuck in Uverse hell like me , please take 1 minute to fill this out and request the NHL Network.

They have the NHL Network already in their drop down menu for this survey so hopefully they are close to adding it back on .

First off, I think if Wennberg looks good early in camp Joey comes back quicker. My line without him would look like this:
Jenner-Dubinsky-Horton
Hartnell-Anisimov-Atkinson
Foligno-Wennberg-Gibbons
Calvert-Letestu-Tropp

I think they can survive without him until thanksgiving. Any later than that and playoffs could be an issue not to mention Joey would become hated in Columbus. The fan I talk to are already talking about getting rid of him.

Don't believe me. I watched Hartnell play on a nightly basis he isn't good. He turns the puck over on horrible passes, doesn't backcheck often when he does he isn't skating in the Dzone and his man just out skates him, he can barely stay on his feet nevermind skate, he is slow.... need I go on. Both players are not good. Difference is one looks better than he is. Wait till everyone is talking about what a big disappointment Hartnell is.

Johansen would need to be under contract to stage a holdout. As he has no contract, it would be impossible for him to hold out. Kinda like the players strike a few years ago, that wasn't a players strike.
